Original Turkish Okey tile game, Rummy. Okey is a beloved Turkish game from the Rummy family. The lineage from Rummy or Rummikub is not clear. The game pieces for Okey and Rummikub is almost identical to each other. It is played with a set of 106 stones (Turkish: tas) made of wood or plastic. On the front of the game pieces there are numbers from 1 to 13 in four different colours: red, yellow, blue and black. Each number is duplicated in its colour. Also, there are two particular pieces without any special colour or number, instead this have a symbol, a four leaf clover or a full moon face. These two playing pieces are the false joker (Turkish: Sahte Okey). The back of all game pieces is similar and non-distinguishable. A six-face game cube is used. The players arrange their playing pieced on wooden, two-level game boards, so that each player can only see their own pieces. Okey is almost always has four players, but it can also be played in partners or with three players. For the whole game an anti-clockwise movement is used.
